Dear Abbington,

On Saturday March 14, 2009, our daughter, Erin Gaffey, married Bryan Kolak, and the wedding reception was held at Abbington Distinctive Banquets. Now that the reception has taken place, my husband and I feel we must comment on our experience at Abbington.

The reception was, without a doubt, a fabulous event. Since our first contact with our Catering Manager, last year, the planning of the reception was, in every respect, a positive experience. She was cordial, helpful, courteous and very involved with all aspects of the planning. She offered suggestions and helped with color selection, food selection, and general all-around planning. In a word, she was wonderful.

We had so many positive and wonderful comments on the reception from our guests. The food was excellent, the appearance of the banquets hall was beautiful, and the service was impeccable, courteous and flawless. The Head Captain was so kind and considerate in handling everything about the service that we feel she should be commended.

Before my husband retired, he was in the food service industry for over 35 years so we tend to be more critical of food service than most. Abbington more than met our expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend your banquet facility to anyone. We want to thank you most graciously for everything you and your excellent staff did to make our reception an extraordinary event.
