From the moment my son told us he was asking his wife's hand in marriage, I immediately called the Abbington to see about dates. Having attended 2 wedding at the Abbington I already knew the atmosphere and loved it. What I didn't know was how the staff at the Abbington handled the planning leading up to the wedding day. We dropped in unannounced on a Friday night just for a peek and we were greeted by the Catering Manager, we were immediately treated like family. She was kind enough to show us around, gave us information packets, looked up dates and answered any question we had. The bride agreed this is where she wanted her reception. She was my rock, my sounding board, an expert to every aspect of what needed to be done at what time during this year long process (and with the phone calls, questions which were many, I always felt like I was her top priority) I was SO glad my son and daughter in law was as thrilled with the Abbington as we were. The food, cake, flowers, bride's room, and the table settings all PERFECT! The wedding pictures with the spiral stair case, chandeliers, elegant lighting was another WOW in the memory book. All the additional vendors that were recommended by the Abbington were exceptional, also. The whole experience brings a smile to my face - wedding are stressful - just the nature of all the planning but having the Abbington to count on to work with you makes you feel secure that you have a team of experts to help you with it all!
