Our experience planning and having our wedding reception at the Abbington was beyond wonderful. Steve and I truly cannot thank the entire staff enough for all of the effort and time involved in making our reception prefect and everything we ever dreamt it could be. From the day we first booked to the day of our wedding almost 20 months later, everyone was always patient and willing to talk to us regarding any question or assistance in planning we needed. Never once during any phone call or face to face meeting were we ever rushed and time was always taken to answer any and every question we might have. Our coordinator was always available and willing to speak to us and returned phone calls and emails quickly.

In the final weeks of planning, everything was made to be simple and stress free for us. Every detail, even ones I never thought of, were attended to and everything was taken care of. When we arrived at our reception we were immediately greeted by our room captain and coordinator and taken to see our ballroom. Neither Steve nor I could believe how perfect everything was - from the linens and centerpieces to our favors and more, everything was even more beautiful and perfect than I had imagined it would be in all the months of planning.

From our moment of arrival at our reception, we were able to fully relax and enjoy ourselves and our guests for the first time that day. Our room captain and the staff took care of everything for us and I never imagined an event with so many people could go so smoothly. Any request either of us had was immediately attended to as were the needs of our family and guests. The food was terrific and the flow of the entire evening was perfect. At the end of the night, again, everything was taken care of for us. All of our items were gathered together, along with our gifts, and given to the appropriate family member to be taken home. The best part of everything was that we were able to fully enjoy every aspect of our reception and had an amazing time.

Upon returning from our honeymoon, we were greeted by cards and comments from our guests. We heard compliments from all of our guests on every aspect of the evening from the wait staff and bartenders to the food and décor. Months later, we are still receiving compliments.

Again, we can't thank everyone at the Abbington enough for making the planning of our reception simple and the memory of it perfect. Thank you.
